A new type of comedy-adventure about two industrial kings, one new and one old, both diametrically opposed to each other in their values, lifestyle and pursuit of money.
The story centers on two “kings”, Akiba and Etchu.
King Akiba once known for eye-opening acquisitions has since liberated himself from materialistic concerns and the power of money in favor of freely pursuing new value by creativity. King Etchu, on the other hand, serves as CEO of a major investment fund and is driven by an insatiable lust for women and money.
Living according to opposite values and harboring completely different motives, both kings find themselves looking to acquire a key television station in Tokyo, Chuo TV. Their bid to win this prized property brings about a fatefully colossal clash between two evenly-matched tycoons.
在兩個有著完全相反價值觀的新王和舊王之間，圍繞著金錢展開了一段既嚴肅又不乏搞笑的冒險故事，是一部讓人耳目一新的電視劇。
故事的中心人物是兩位王者----秋葉和越中。
秋葉因曾經的大型收購而震驚世間，但現在他對於“金錢的力量”以及“物質的擁有”都保持著距離，成了一名找尋新價值觀的自由人。
與此相反，基金公司的法人代表越中，在貪婪無度的欲望驅使下，毫不掩飾的不斷追求著金錢、物質和女人。
擁有完全相反價值觀的秋葉和越中，因不同動機同時下決心要收購東京的中央電視台。
秋葉和越中最終能否成功收購電視臺？在虛虛實實的計謀周旋之下，二人命中注定的對決之日悄然臨近。
さくらの親子丼2
There are children who don’t have a home to return to during Christmas, New Years, and even tonight. This is a story about Sakura who reach out to the children, to blossom a flower of happiness from the tears of despair.
The “House of Hummingbirds” is where children who lost their faith in their parents gather to live. Sakura starts working at the “House” as a food staff, which is managed by lawyer Mitani, a rookie lawyer Kawabata, and a former teacher Nabeshima who is now the head of the “House”.
However, the children of the “House” directly deny her beliefs as they tell Sakura, “Parent and child together makes an Oyakodon? Why in the world do we have to be together? Don’t make me laugh.”
Nabeshima explains that these children have never been asked what meal they want to eat, therefore has no idea of the joys and desires in eating. Meanwhile, Sakura makes effort to tell the children that there are trustable adults in this world through food.
Will Sakura be able to keep on reaching out to the children?
クリスマス、お正月、そして今夜も帰る家のない子どもたちがいる。
絶望の淵で流す涙が、幸せの種になるように―
手を差し伸べるさくらと子どもたちの物語。
きっかけは、さくら（真矢ミキ）の長男・悠平が殺害された事件を機に知り合った三谷弁護士（名取裕子）。犯罪被害者家族と加害者弁護士、という関係だったが、子どもの人権を守るため奔走する三谷の姿に共鳴、信頼する間柄に。
ハチドリの家は、三谷とその下で働く、新人弁護士・川端哲也（柄本時生）、教師から転身したホーム長・鍋島真之介（相島一之）の3人で運営する。そこに、食事スタッフとして参加することになったさくらだが…
「何が親と子一つになって親子丼だよ。何で一つになんなきゃいけねえんだよ、マジありえねえ」
さくらは、これまでやってきことを真っ向から否定されてしまう。
「あの子たちは小さい時から何食べたい？と聞かれた経験が、ほとんどないんです」
鍋島の説明通り、食べる喜びはもちろんのこと、自分が食べたいものすら分からない子どもたち。
そんな中、料理を通じて信じられる大人がいることを伝えようと奔走するさくら…
これっぽっちも親を信じられない、自ら親を捨てた子どもたちが暮らす「ハチドリの家」。
果たしてさくらは、子どもたちに手を差し伸べ続けることができるのか…
